About Annapurna Base Camp Trek
A breathtaking but beautiful journey to the world-famous trekking route The Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)Trek covers 110 kilometers of distance in total. (ABC) You will have to walk for 6 hours on average and cover a distance of 10km per day.
This is a moderately easy trail that will take you through the rural setting of Nepal and near the Annapurna mountain range.
Before the perfect itinerary for those looking for a conveniently timed trek offering outstanding extensive mountain views, our journey begins in Nayapul, just over an hour's drive outside Pokhara, the city of lakes. As we make our way to Annapurna Base Camp (4200m), we trek over rolling hills through dense primordial forest, traverse steep stairs and iron suspension bridges and stand in awe at raging rivers and dramatic waterfalls.
We witness the grandeur of the sun rising over snow-capped Himalayan Mountain peaks and stand spellbound at the magnificent 360-degree views from Annapurna Sanctuary. On this lodge-based trek. There are three ways to get to the start of this Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
You can board a local bus for the 7-hour drive along the scenic central river valley
or you can travel in comfort and convenience by private car
or you can choose to take the 25-minute Kathmandu to Pokhara flight with its magnificent views of the mighty Himalayas.

Outline Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara Overnight in a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Markyu dada and trek to Sinua (2100 m) overnight at Sinua
Day 03: Trek from Sinua to Deurali 6-7 hrs 2800m
Day 04: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp 7 Hours 4200m Overnight at ABC
Day 05: Trek From Annapurna Base Camp to Sinua 4-5 Hours 2117m
Day 06: Trek From Sinua Tatopani drive back to Pokhara 4-5 Hours 2117m
Day 07 Pokhara, Explore Pokhara this day Free day.
Day 08 After breakfast, pick up for tourist bus park Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
Day 1 Drive/Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu
This morning we woke bright and early to catch the tourist bus for the 7-hour journey to Pokhara. Often referred to as the city of lakes, Pokhara, wrapped around beautiful Phewa Lake, offers a full range of natural and cultural heritage sites for you to explore.
Featuring glorious views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, Pokhara is home to the World Peace Pagoda and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, as well as Buddhist Monasteries and sacred Hindu Temples.
The tourist mecca of Lakeside is a shopper's paradise offering an incredible array of shops, restaurants, and bars to suit every taste.
Day 2 Drive From Pokhara to Markyu Dada and Trek to Sinuwa
After a hearty breakfast, we are ready to begin our Annapurna Base Camp Trek. We are traveling by sharing a bus/jeep till Markyu Dada from Pokhara. Lunch is on the way—dinner at Sinua. Overnight stay in Sinua in a tea house.
Day 3 Sinuwa to Deurali
Today our Annapurna Base Camp itinerary begins along undulating hills through the dense bamboo forest as we follow the Modi Khola river valley to the village of Bamboo (2330m). Continuing, the vegetation thins and the gorge narrows sharply, becoming increasingly rocky before reaching the overhanging rock known as Hinku Cave. From here, the track climbs up to Deurali, the last village on our trek and where we will overnight.
Day 4 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Today, after breakfast, we are ready to begin the final entry to Annapurna Base Camp. Upon entering the sanctuary, we are immediately rewarded by the view of the almost vertical south face of the Annapurna Himal Tower above. It provides a 360-degree view,

Day 5 Trek From ABC to Sinua
Today we wake just before dawn to savor the sunrise over the mighty Himalayas from the Annapurna Sanctuary. After a hot breakfast, we begin our descent, passing through Machhapuchre Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan before reaching our final destination, the picturesque village of Bamboo.
Our hike back down is much easier than the climb up, allowing us time to relax and enjoy river rapids and flowing waterfalls. A variety of flora and fauna as the trail takes us through bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forest with fantastic views of Fishtail and Hiunchuli mountains along the way.
Day 6 Trek from Sinuwa to Jhinudanda and Drive back to Pokhara
Today our Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins with a steep climb up to Kuldi Ghar, where the trail flattens until we reach Sinuwa, then gradually descends again to the Chhumrong Khola (river). Continuing, we climb stone stairs up to Chhumrong and then follow the steep trail as it makes its way down to the village of Jhinudanda.
From here, we can walk down 20 minutes to reach the Jhinu Mineral Water Hot Springs on the banks of the Modi Khola. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 7 Explore Pokhara
Day 8 Drive/fly back to Kathmandu
This morning board the local bus for the scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or catching up on some last-minute shopping and sightseeing.
In the evening, join your guide at a celebration dinner, reminiscing about your incredible journey on this Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
